The Amalie socks are knitted from the top to the toe, and with an elastic structural pattern that forms nicely around the foot. The heel and toe are knitted in st st, and the heel is formed using German Short Rows.

Recommended yarn: Sandnes Garn Sisu - other super fine yarn quality with the same gauge. If the socks are knitted for a baby you can use Sandnes Garn Sunday.
